Size Of Cricket House for 500?

So I just ordered the smallest amount of crickets possible from LLLreptile (500 of the critters) and I'm a little nervous that my cage might not fit them. I currently have two cricket carriers about 12 in by 6 in each. Will this be big enough or should I get an actual terrarium to house them?

Your going to need a bigger container. Storage bins work well. As do fish tanks. Egg crate trays will give you surface area and keep your crickets happier and not on top of each other. The size of bin or container will depend on how many crickets you will be keeping at a time.

I keep mine in a plastic storage bin, with large sections cut out in the lid. On the cut out sections I glue aluminum mesh. I put paper towel rolls and egg crate in them for them to climb on. It's the easiest way I've found to keep them. It's cheap, light weight and easy to clean.
