Silkworm was fed while molting

I need help, I fed my silkworms once during the afternoon, some molted but some were on the verge of molting. I don't know what to do? will they die if I interupted their molting process or not?

Hi. From my experiences with silkies, they won’t eat if they are getting ready to spin their cocoons. Right before doing that, they purge their stomach contents. They should be fine.

Thank you but I meant molting before becoming 4th instar. I fed all of them while some were still molting, I am scared that they might die if I fed them while molting

Oh…ok. No, they’ll be fine. I keep mine with food all the way until they purge (or meet with a chameleon).
