Silk worms or wax worms?

I'm wanting to order worms for my veiled and would like to hear from other owners on which would be best....my veiled is now 4 months old.....thanks for the replies.

Silk worms are always the way to go. Only downside to them is that they're extremely perishable. It's recommend to not touch them with your hands, your oils will make them die off. And i've done this a few times...Also they're usually only available during certain seasons.

As for waxworms, I'd stay away from those. They're just a bunch of fat and can cause your cham to go on food strikes if he/she likes them enough lol. I gave my cham 2-3, and he didn't eat for a week straight because he was on a food strike.

If you do feed your cham wax worms, just do 1 or 2 max every other week or something. They're good for this during your chams age, it can help him build some fat up. But if you can get silkworms, i'd highly recommend those over waxworms any day.

Small silkworms are good. Remember to order food with the worms.:D
