The quickest way to fix MBD is to have a vet give it injections of calcium followed by an injection of calcitonin when the blood calcium levels are high enough.

You should be able to get liquid calcium sandoz or liquid calcium gluconate at the pharmacy. Liquid calciums are supposed to be absorbed more easily than the powders. Be careful giving it to the chameleon because its syrupy and harder for them to swallow than water. You also want to be sure that you don't get it into its lungs.

This along with exposure to UVB and maybe giving the D3 a couple of extra times a month for the first while should help get it back on track...but it will be more slowly.

The problem is that a lack/imbalance of calcium also affects the muscles and other things in the chameleon's system...so the sooner its corrected the better the chance of it living.
