Hello, I am new here and looking for some help. I have a male panther chameleon about a yr old. His name is Mojo. Last week I noticed he would keep his right eye closed. I spent a few days flushing it out with saline and uping his mist sessions. I noticed when he wwould sun in his outdoor enclosure he would keep both eyes opened. Yesterday I took him to our reptile vet. She wasnt sure what was going on with his eye as there was no.sign of infection. I brought in a fecal sample, tested neg for parasites but pos for blood. I am awaiting his blood work results. She gave him an antibiotic and anti parasite injecty as well as ointment for the eye. she also injected fluids with b6 as he is deyhdrated. I am to inject him again on fri. I.am thinking his.main problem is dehydration. He sleeps most of the.day with.an.occasional burst.of.energy. I.try to mist.him a lot. He drank for me yesterday but.not.at all today. He is.currently taking a showet (under my.supervision of.course) His enclosure is a.5 ft tall x 2 ft wide wooden bird cage. He has two.basking lamps on the outside, and a reptisun 10.0 uvb with plastic covet removed on.top. Live ficus.tree.and.live wax plant as well as various fake plants. I use a.pressured.mister bottle. He.ate.wax worms.today but I.offer him every other.day horned worms, super worms, crickets, and just.recently.dubias. I.need help rehydration him, he has been in.the shower for 40 min.and is.not drinking. I apologize for the typos as I am on my phone.
