:(Help! My 5 month old veiled chameleon is real lethargic, not eating or drinking, her jaw is open with her tongue hanging out and her eyes are closed. Unfortunately, there is not an exotic vet in my area or within a 50 mile radius that I can take her to. What can I do?

It sounds like she is not going to make it. To help us figure anything out, please fill out the following:
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage construction (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and type of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Location - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.
Current Problem - The current problem that you are concerned about.

I just purchased the new exo-terra tropical terrarium (24x24x30) with the uv light bulb, I also have a heat lamp. For moisture, I mist her and up until the last two days she has been drinking from ice cubes (yesterday and today an eye dropper) placed on the top of her cage above a branch that she sits on. The average temp ranges from 95 to 105. Her main food source is live crickets, she doesn't seem interested in anything not moving. She is located in our home office (not very high traffic) and her cage is about three feet off of the ground (because of other pets). She took a turn for the worst last night, we came home and found her in a water bowl, the lower half of her body, and assumed that she had gotten too cold. The water bowl has since been removed. Also, this morning she had a white and yellow milky discharge come from her rear end. As far as handling her, she really doesn't get handled alot, mostly when we clean her cage.

OK-it also helps to know what part of the world you are in or state. Chameleons do not belong in glass enclosures. They really need screen enclosures and your temps are WAY, WAY too hot. I suspect with the lack of air flow and high humidity and temps your cham may have an upper respiratory infection. Did you see any stringly mucous in her mouth? Other things could be impaction-has she pooped? Do you have substrate in the cage? Do you have a proper egg laying container in for her-she is a tad young but 5 months is not unheard of. There is absolutely no need for a water bowl in a cham cage other than a covered one to catch water dripping-but ice cubes are not a good idea.

Also-what type of UVB do you have?

What do you mean about the uv light bulb. Is it a compact or a linear? Also, your temps are too high. Reduce them to 85 with ambient temps in the 70's. I am very concerned with the whilte and yellow milky discharge. I think that you will need to see a vet.
