Show me your Dubia feeding cup

For those that don't hand feed. I am currently working on this with Peri, he is already taking silks from the palm of my hand.

The 1/4" Dubia seem to hide in the bottom front of my camo feeder cup run. So I'm thinking of making a small clear cup/bowl that will make it easier for him to see and maybe have sloping sides so they keep sliding down into each other and hopefully keep them moving to attract him into eating them? That's my thoughts of it so far.

So please show me what you are using for Dubia feeding your chams.

I also have a glass enclosure.

I put this together in a pinch to show another person. I have a screen enclosure so if I can't stant there and feed her I can stick it on the side.

I find if I mix other feeders together-- like silks or BSFL with the roaches it bothers them a little and they move more.

I have tried a clear container but my Chams see them through the bottom and sides then starts trying to eat them from the sides or the bottom. So for me it didn’t work.

Use a yogurt cup. They are normally white.

While i dont have picks, i made a feeder "dining room" out of one of those disposable 2-3 gallon water carboys. I just lined it with about 6" wide of aluminum screen so the feeders cant get to the bottom bung hole ( and doubles as drainage) and the feeders can walk a solid foot or more up the side of the unit.

Nope. If I attach it I put it lower-ish. She eats everything once its offered--very rarely she leaves food. She is a female so I feed every 2-3 days and shes usually ready to eat.

I should mention, it took us a bit to get here. For about 9 months all her food was mostly crickets let free in the cagr and the occasional worm so shes spoiled now with food in one spot.

I have also not had any feeders escape the cage....that I'm aware of

That is smart to put it lower, maybe thats what I will try before I have to make another one.

This is one I made and the cup is semi clear. There is a branch near the cup so he can climb and attack from above. Works well for me

I use the full throttle feeder cups. I was commenting on the thought and my experience of using clear containers.
