My little girl is over 3 months now and still tiny
her brother its atleast 3x as big
Is this normal ?
I had the same issue with my baby female ambilobe Cham. She's a year old now and two n half inch nose to vent. Has grown in my care but just doubled in size was slightly bigger then yours when I got her. My advice is a cage that's small but not very small. Like 18"18"36" tall is a bit to big for your size Cham. I am moving my girl to 36" tall cage soon because I think she needs more space. So you can see that big always isn't good.
I used golden pothos that my chams love licking and is nice to see a baby climb around in. I spoke to a guy that new chams very well. His chams were bulky like huge biggest I seen. Went to him with this type of question and said it was a freak of nature lol exactly what he said.
Gut load crickets very well and use supplements correctly. She will start shedding in no time that's a sign of growing. Good health with feeding feeders the distance between the eyes so impaction doesn't happen and can cause eating to completely stop.
Use drippers and figure out your misting like how many times will it take. Dehydration will show in a lot of areas mainly base of tail and boney. Hyration is important keeps tougue working and metabolism in good shape.
My advice is with being this small she will shed alot by the weeks keep eye on this. That and this being important look after the elbows I never knew this. But L shape is good but jagged or J like is a mbd issue.
I would recommend to look around this site for temps and supplement uses and gut loads that work. If you do these correctly you will have a healthy girl on your end.
I also recommend you to read up on females laying infertile eggs because she could. My girls a year old and doesn't show any behavior of wanting to dig but her big sister she's older veiled that just layed her first clutch of infertiled eggs.
This is fatal to them if they become egg bound.
I mean you probably know this but am a safe then sorry type person.
I wish you the best with your little baby girl and if you have any questions private message ya. Ain't they cute when there that small. I always liked when baby's even have photos of my two ambilobes when baby's. veiled well wasn't that small when I got her.
Sorry Male didn't read whole postjust got up.
