Shooting Tounge to Drink?

I noticed sometimes when there is a droplet of water hanging from the tip of a leaf, my young veiled will shoot his tounge to get the water, normally he just "licks" the water of the leaves so I found it a big unusual.

Does he think it's food, and can it cause any harm?

its fine man, lol

my chameleon did this a couple times and just realized its a bit easier to just drink the water next to him...

I used to sit and watch Stanley stare at the dripper as it dropped... Moving his head with each drop until about ten minutes later THWAP!! He'd snatch just one drop... Finally he figured out the dripper head was reachable too!! Smart little guy haha but yes, normal
