P Pindingy New Member Dec 18, 2012 #1 My female panther is laying egg's again. She just laid a nice sized clutch on Oct 25. She has not been with or receptive to the male. So, is this normal for her to lay what might be an infertile clutch so soon?

Click to expand... Yeah, pretty sure i read somewhere that females can retain sperm from the male for a long time. So you might be expecting another clutch of babies!

AngieL Avid Member Dec 18, 2012 #4 Did she mate for the first clutch? If so then this ones probably fertile too! If we're talking 2 infertile clutches in a row I would suggest you lower her temps and reduce her food intake
