babies can shed full body every couple weeks. juvies every month or so. adults every few months and mainly a part of their body here or there, (it can seem like they are always in a constant state of shedding as adults).
they shed when they start to grow, so whenever he grows.
signs of shedding are dryer looking skin, white patches, and some will start to rub themselves on their plants and side of the cage cuz the shedding skin is itchy, wrinkly looking skin,
you may miss the signs tho cuz babies can go from being fine one minute, then ten minutes later look like they fell into a skin bomb. they can start and finish shedding completely in a few hours. but dont be concerned if it tkes a day or two for them to finish. also, up their mistings when they do start shedding.
mine wont bask as much when hes about to shed, and he gets very cranky.

also, there is no partiular spot they start to shed in, mine started on his spine the first time, then his legs the second time, then his sides the 3rd time. so it varies.
