Shedding

I'm just curious if this happens with anyone else's chameleon. When my Cham sheds it seems like it just explodes off of him. Last week I checked on him in the morning and I didn't notice anything and then when I came home he had shed and it was everywhere! I thought it was more like a peeling process.

Mine are the same. I took a pic at the beginning to show someone what its supposed to look like and a half hour later I went to take another pic to show progress and it was too late. I am going to say that means proper humidity. I know if snakes shed in small pieces it can mean they are too dry.

This is specific to young chameleons that are still growing. They tend to just pop off all their shed like you wouldn't believe! Once they stop growing so much, the shedding is much less explosive haha
