She hissed for the 1st time! :p

Sorry for the crappy quality, my cell phone was the only camera I had near me. I never saw her this fired up or puffed up before. She hadn't ever hissed at me before today, but she just finished her 1st shed (at least with me), and she looks so much bigger to me now! She's got quite the attitude in her cage. I took her outside today and she had fun crawling around and catching bugs.

Speaking of... She ate something quite large, I'm not sure what it is, but Pascali is small, I'm not sure how old she is. I saw only the wings of the bug, but I'm thinking it was either a huge fly or possibly a bee?! Should I be concerned?

They tend to be a little grouchy after a shed. My Veild was a "No Fly Zone" up to 2 days after he shed. As far as the bug, remember they eat bugs. The only thing that would concern me is if Pesticides are used in your area. I remember some years back there was a picture of a Male Veild that had caught and ate a hummingbird while out side for the day.

Haha that's funny. I haven't heard my little guy do it yet but I can imagine having the same reaction as you. He also just shed the other day and he also has been a grouch. It's totally fine from what you describe.
