And here is Mort, free ranging in the ficus until I get too worried

About 30 minutes after that photo was taken, Mort decided he didn't like the piebald look and went into a large scale shed. Here at our house (where the birds rule this roost) we call it molting, which slid over the linguistic barriers and became 'melting', regardless of species.

As for the cage set up, here is a pic of Shayna's set up. Mort is right next door in a similar set up which really needs to be expanded. I know its too small, but right now its all we've got.

Overhead are light fixtures that take care of 3 bulbs for each cham: Standard incandescent 60 watt for heat, Fluker's 5.0 UVB, and a full spectrum fluourescent. There is a Monsoon Mister that they share. Shayna knows exactly where the mist won't be, but Mort doesn't much care. In fact he uses the misting nozzle as a climbing aid, and as often as not I'll find he accidentally aimed the nozzle at the worm cup and now they're drowned. <sigh>

Each cage has three solid perches, with a six-foot fake grapevine twisted in there and a live plant (she has the ficus and he has a pothos). They have worm cups (she's a Phoenix worm eater and he does superworms) and free range crickets. The crickets have a smear of Repashy Bug Burger in a decent location for the chams to snack.

The cages are on a cheap wire storage rack placed on a work bench. The Exoterra cages are about 16x16x30. Shayna's has a custom made screen base that drains through to a catch tray. Because we have the mister the drip tray isn't as necessary. There is also a Tupperware container with sand for her.

A heavy cloth hangs between and around their cages as a privacy screen, and also to keep the moisture a bit contained.
