Sexing a rudis chameleon

What things do you look for when sexing a rudis chameleon? I am almost positive its a male, but almost is not a guarantee.

How old?? If it is the one in your avatar it looks female. Males will have yellow sides and a more slender appearance.

In the avatar the rudis is bunched up. When he is not huddled he has a slender appearance, he also has very bright yellow lines down the sides of his body (sometimes a faint blue will even appear below his mouth). Are there spurs or flaps I can look for on a ruids chameleon?

No they differ in color. The males will have a bulge in the tail as well. Post some better pix cause it really does look like a female in the avatar.

lol. That pic is just way too small for my bad eyes I guess. I just dont see any color at all in that pic.

I agree with Trace. Although hard to tell in a pic that small, the tail base appears evidently enlarged and the coloration is consistent with that of a male.

Question of my own, sorry. How soon can you sex a rudis. My little guys are about 5 months old and I have no idea how many are boys and how many are girls. Amarillo is in my avatar, but it is a small pic.
