Sexing a chameleon.?

I was wondering if anyone could teach me how to sex a panther chameleon.? I want to get good at it, because I'd like to have baby panthers in the future. Thought I could start learning now and then in the future when there are babies I'll be really really good at it.

im not pretty sure but i think the males will have a bulge on their tail up by their body let me see if i can find pictures to show.

Instead of looking for a tarsal spur, such as you do for a Veiled Chameleon, you look at the base of the tail, just past the vent. Whether they are one day old, or 3 months old, you should be able to look and see a bump (bulge from hemipenes).

agreed! and one other thing to keep in mind is coloration (no, they dont always display more than 4 colors and can still be male, but my 2 month old was a really bright green, with actuall red but hard to see..) but base of the tail is the way with panthers..

Look at ALOT of pictures of males, and ALOT of pictures of females. Develope your "eye".
