I've seen people mentioning using these plants but I noticed I didn't see them on any "cham safe lists"... Are these indeed safe? Any experiences or advice with them if so? Thanks :)

Yeah theyre safe, they are also known as umbrella plants. They are really great, very jungle-like

I find Schefflera the easiest to keep alive. Ficus always seem to drop their leaves for me. When I had my first cham, I got her a schefflera and it lived for about 3 years. In fact, it outlived her!

Was ur first cham a jacksons? Slightly lower temps and more humidty more watering help? It's not much but maybe? I got good draining organic soil and sand and my pothos thrives my schefflera wilts so I take It out for a coupke weeks month or so and try again.. I'm on round three.. lol

I had 3 Veileds first. Monty was quite stressful as he was so small when he first arrived. I was paranoid that something would go wrong and I would lose him. But yeah cooler temps (under 80 for babies) and higher humidity for Jacksons. I find the crested geckos much more stressful than Jacksons though!
