Scared of crickets

I think my chameleon who is like 2/3 months old, runs away from his feeder cup every time I put it, along with crickets in his cage. Is he scared of them? They are small crickets, perhaps he is scared of the cup (Like the size of a cola can). What do you guys use to feed little babies in slightly larger cages?

Try free ranging some while monitoring to make sure he sees them. I am sure he is more afraid of you being in his cage more than the cup. You got him from the kammers, right? If so he was not cup fed and it can take awhile for him to get used to it.

Ok will do. How do you all feed flightless fruit flies? In a porcelain bowl or something? I would imagine those you do not free range

If your guys is almost 3 months they may be too small for him.

When my veiled hit 2 months, he stopped eating the fruit flies all together. I fed pinheads for a while, and i free ranged them. now hes onto the smalls.
