scared my poor Cham half to death

I went to wipe water out of her cage before bed and she looked so cute I decided to take a picture. As soon as I raised the camera up she puffed up and had her two front feet up by her face and was rocking. Scared me to death! It took a few minutes for her to calm down. I gave her 1 small cricket and talked to her for a few minutes before I turned her lights out. My phone case is a bright blue. Maybe she thought it was another cam?

Chameleons can be aggressive towards cameras and things with colors when held up to them. I have a red cell phone and I get the mouth opened at me and the feet up in the air when I try and take a picture!

Thank you so much! I was so worried I was about to cry! She is very calm and sweet most of the time. I don't ever want to do that again
