Salt buildup around chameleon's nose

I have a juvenile veiled chameleon and he has been having some salt build up around his nose. I have heard that this is not something to worry about but I just wanted to make sure. I live in New England where it snows a lot and I have heard that it has to do with the snow or something... Anyways is this a problem, and should I be concerned about it?

It is nothing to worry about. It is just excess salt built up in their systems, that they expell through the nose. It happens to mine when I have to switch from distilled water to tap for a while.
