safe wishes to all of our friends, family, loved ones and pets that are going to feel this hurricane, i fell pretty safe inland up north here but i hope everyone on here is safe and sound

I have lived in Florida for 23 years now and have directly felt the rath of three major hurricanes. It is something to behold that is one of the most incredible occurances in nature and yet at the same time one of the scariest things you will ever go through. My neighborhood and whole town was ripped apart from Hurricane Frances and then about two weeks later we were hit by Hurricane Jean. The next year was Wilma. I have lived without electric for 3 weeks. Something I hope to never have to experience again. So be safe all our forum friends and best of luck to everyone who is going to be effected by this storm.

The same here. I live north of Carol and think we may have been hit even harder. Irene went by yesterday with only some wind and sideways rain so I am thankful. I did have 11 travel cages ready incase we had to evacuate.

I hope everyone will be okay too. We had a terrible storm here two nights ago, but nothing compared to hurricane Irene.
