Safe tree??

I just bought a five foot majesty palm from home depot. Im 95% sure its safe but im not entirely sure. Can they eat the leaves? I already saw mine trying to eat them.

I don't know anything about that plant specifically, but it's on the safe plants list for pets published by the ASPCA. It's probably fine.
