Finally it's done and he's one happy cham!!! It's 4 feet tall and 2.4 feet wide and deep. He's been all over it!

I got my drainage hooked up it and it works.....yippppeee. I drilled a hole a bit smaller than the hose and shove it thru then wrapped plumbers tape around it and twisted it back out enough that water would hit it to drain. The bottom is coroplast(I had scraps) I poked some holes but wasn't really working to well so I cut out a small area that I place screen on top of and a rock on top of it to make the coroplast dip in that area. It drains into a bucket so I'm very happy!! No more cupping out water or moving him to carry the rubbermaid to the tub.

I need to get some more plant now b/c it's kind of bare compared to his last one where the ficus filled the whole enclosure. Everything is real except for the flowers....I wanted some color:) oh and a few leafy vines are fake that I wraped around the smaller bend-a-vine that I had.

I can't afford a mistking yet but I have a pump up mister that has a hose connect to it on it's way should be here this week. I had one before and love it but it got eaten by a dog. For it I drilled a hole thru the cross beam at the top that runs across the middle to run the hose thru. Right not I plugged it so crickets don't escape.

I did most of it myself and hubby the rest b/c I got ticked off that screws were breaking. So, it does have some broken screws and one drill bit in it that I got mad over and beat the snot out of them with the hammer b/c they wouldn't come out...hahaha

Thanks! I'm gonna hit Lowes this weekend b/c their safe plants are cheaper than Home Depot and also a closer road trip. He would have loved it if I made it much bigger b/c he LOVES my 16 yr old ficus tree. Since he was kind of cramped in the old emclosure, I'd let him out when I was home and he head for the ficus...which bends over at the ceiling. It will go back in that room next winter b/c it did great in there. Didn't drop any leaves:)
I'm also going to add some handles on the outside so when I take him out while I'm home it'll be easier to carry it.

I gave him some crickets and was happy to see him going after them. Wow! at how fast he can move!

Looks beautiful! Post more photos when you're done decorating it on the inside too! It'll look fantastic, I bet.
