Yea, orchids are fine. However, they are delicate so consider the size of your chameleon and the orchid! Don't put a 300g full-grown male and a dainty, thin little orchid plant where he will climb it and ruin it lol. I'm actually considering adding one or two to the cages with my smaller chameleons.

I too wonder why they are not on the safe plant list. I have seen many in photos.

well i have 1 to .. a purple one.. my girl.. picked the colour ..
but he realy loves the climb into it up to his basking spot..
