Rowdy little veiled

my veiled Cham is about 3 months old, when I first got him he was tiny so I didn't handle him much if at all, I read they get stressed easily, but this seems to have back fired, he's 2-3 times bigger now and is hissing and taking nips at my hand when I try to grab him. Lol he's a wild animal in there, any tips on calming him down, I would hate for him to grow bigger and be even more aggressive. Might have to have some Cham tacos if that's the case. (Kidding)

Seeing as you used the terms "grab him" I'm just going to put this here... http://screameleons.com/how-to-handle-your-chameleon-properly/

Please understand that chams are not a creature that likes to be handled. They can learn to tolerate it, but there has to patience involved. It should also never be a regular thing. If that is your end goal - please reconsider your ownership of this animal. The more stress you push on your cham, the more you shorten his lifespan. Each cham is individual. If he doesn't want to be handled, don't. He can be moved by using a perch much in the way shown in the videos at the above link for cleaning purposes and necessary moves (to the vet, etc).

With that said, try hand feeding him. Also, search the forums (top green bar). Something like "handling" will pop up many answers for you. This question has been asked so many times and I have seen the pros answer it many a times over!

Cheers~
