Rockos colors

[Rocko the cham]

hey guys iv had my panther (Rocko) for about 3 months now and when i got him he used to show alot of great colors and lately he hasn't been showing much. he usually just green slightly blue and dark red stripes. the only way i get his colors to come out is when i put him on the curtains (he loves that shit). what do you think causes this??? I WANT SOME DOPE COLORS! its making me sad

heres a link on how his stuff is set up. i have no problems with him eating anymore and with him shedding. his cage is 16" by 16" by 30" i think its time to up in size. what do you guys think?

As you know, chams communicate their level of stress and mental stimulation by color change. When you first got him he was reacting to all the changes in his life and didn't feel secure in his new space, so you saw a lot of color change. Now he's more relaxed and less reactive so you are seeing his mellow mood (assuming he is behaving normally...eating, drinking, basking, as he should). It's a GOOD thing!

See what happens if you show him a mirror.

good point. never though of that. you are probably correct. ohh and mirrors dont really get him to change color :s
