Ringo found his way to...

Well this morning after Ringo ate I left his cage open. He usually stays in his window or stays in the room period. But not this morning. I went to check on him and I found him heading to the living room. So I picked him up with the ladder and moved him onto one of the umbrella trees and put it on my desk. Fixed up a small FR onto of my desk. A few minutes after that my husband called and told me we were going to go for lunch. Silly me thinking Ringo would be a good boy, I left him on my desk.

Just got home to find him NOT on the freerange but in the living room window. *Sigh* he is looking so hard for a female.... Oh yea some very pretty yellows and blues going on!

Put Ringo back in his cage and he instantly went to his window then down to the dog crates trying to to get out of the room again:rolleyes:

my free ranged veiled explores my house alot i ended up boxing his corner off so he cant roam the house, the hide and seek game got old after every day.

do you guys really not handle your chams like at all?(used the little dowel latter)
i handle one of my chams daily and he crawls to me every day when i get home from school and doesnt get all stress brown or puff up

is it bad to handle them? because i handle mine almost everyday, my meller cham looks forward to me taking her out everyday she will sit by her cage door and look at me till i take her out and give her attention

That's one of the hazards of a free-range. The price of liberty is eternal vigilance :)
I can't let my Rinty out unless I'm there, because he knows where Jasmine lives......... :D Ringo really is looking nice, I guess you keep Angel in another room though.....
It depends on the Cham how much handling is too much. Some of them would get stressed out by any at all, others seem to enjoy it. Mine have warmed up very slowly and seem to quite like it now, but when they were younger they didn't enjoy it at all so they haven't had much.

I dont handle him much. If I had a glove I think I'd be more easy about handling him. There the occassional moments when he'll climb on my arm and I can move my hands around ect. But then he freaks out if if its for too long.

Unfortunately I had to sell Angel :( Hubby made me.

That will have really disappointed Ringo, poor boy - no wonder he's still on the lookout :)........ You still have Angel in your sig, so I thought she was still with you.

I miss her and havent felt like deleting her off of it =( I am looking for a female for him But cant do anything til we move
