Hi,
I bought a 7-month-old panther chameleon. Comparing with other same aged chameleons in CF, I realized that mine is noticeably smaller in size.
What do you guys think about its size?

If it is a female, they are much smaller than the males. Can you post a few close ups of the tail base/vent area?. Also, the coloring should tell if female at this age. Usually by 7 months, the males are pretty colorful and yours does not appear to be in that picture but maybe "he" is just dark right now.

When I bought him/her from a pet store, the owner told me that he can't tell the sex at this stage because they are just too young for it. Anyways its still 50/50, so I decided to take it. But I guess he was lying.

Yes, you have a female. They are quite a bit smaller than the males. Like I said by this age, a male would be displaying some nice coloring.
