Hey Everyone!
Simone is doing fine, she finally made if over the hump & is active & eating & giving us all the evil eye again!
I have a question... I got a light fixture for a great price, (needed a new cord) & they threw in a Repti Sun 2.0 15W 18" long bulb. (geez, I just took it out of the box & it's a 10.0) Since not too many seemed thrilled with the CF bulbs...so I will be swapping out the cf for the fluorescent. will it hurt her to have the 10.0 on until I get home from work with a 5.0?

Just place it a little higher than you would normally that way the UV arays wont be as strong.. For a short time, it shouldnt have any ill eFfects.. There are a few people that use the 10.0, just being careful to measure the UV output

how do I measure that?
