Hi all in New to this site and finding all ur information so useful, and enjoying readin up on chams etc.

So iv read through the chameleon care sheet and I think I have everything to a 'T' minus 1 BIG FACTOR, my baby's living quarters, I see that exoterra glass vivs should only be used untill 6 months!!
my question is what would you recommend to replace? ? I live in UK and meche care I can't see will hold in any humidity etc.

Where did you read that the Exoterra vivs should only be used until 6 months? Seems odd. As long as that type of cage is designed to provide ventilation you can use them for the cham's entire life. Depending on what size you bought initially for your baby you might need to transfer to the largest size. I don't know what that is offhand. I make my own cages.

from chameleon resources on this site .......
  • Beware the Exoterra glass cages – these cages are often suggested by petstores for your new chameleon. They are good starter cages for babies, but they are often far too small to use for Veiled, Panther and Jackson chameleons over 6 months old.
