I'd try again in a few days if she has receptive coloration.

The female is not receptive, she goes black when in with the male and gapes and hisses!

Yes...Real dark all over with yellow and blue spots. Gapes, rocks and hisses...and tends to try and go after the male.

These color traits indicate she is already gravid. Feed her well and i would bump up calcium intake and be sure to give her a place to lay. Females will lay weather they were bred or not so this will be an infertile clutch. After she lays that clutch i would give her at least 2 or 3 months before breeding her to you male. Egg laying is a taxing process.
