My mistking was stored in a bucket all winter, little did I know the bucket had about an inch of water on the bottom! When I pulled it out everything was soaked and a bit rusted and I was sure it wouldn't work this year. So after letting it dry out for a couple months I set it up the other day thinking it wouldn't work and what do you know, it did! and I checked the water that was coming out of it and it is crystal clear, no rust or residue of any kind. Love my mist king
