He spends the week with me at school and at my home the rest of the time. My class has even started writing a book about him! :D

I know!!! One of my students drew it. It is SO adorable. He's writing a series of stories about him, and that's the character. He fights the evil Dr. Chameleon and zaps him with his long tongue. :D

That is awesome that you are doing that! I have my chameleon in the classroom as well. It is so great for the students. They are learning to respect his space and interpret his moods through color changes. You can connect so many concepts to the chameleon such as growth charting, feeder preference, figuring out the cost of his food. They always have inspiration to write about. Have you used any of the great picture books such as Chameleon, Chameleon, A color of his Own, or the Mixed Up Chameleon?

Hello, he does looks great.....and that is cute :), good work.

I was told he is about a year old. The picture of him on the hands is actually him on a 6 year old's hands - that may be why he looks bigger.
