My Husband amazingly came across 2 Praying Mantis(es?) in the yard while doing yard work and I first offered it to my 7 month old male veiled cham and it was quite large 4 to 5 inches big (the mantis) and at first he just kinda ignored it he didn't seem to be afraid of it or anything. I wasn't crazy about its large front sharp arms so my husband grabbed it with rubber tongs and cut them off and trust me whem I say the mantis actually looked absolutely pissed off at us, it was literally giving us the evil eyes I now KNOW they are extremely intelligent!! We put it back it in with Lemmy and he stared at then methodically placed himself in line with the mantis and quickly grabbed it by the head Mashed the heck out of its head and then just spit it out and was like there now YOU'RE DEAD!! But he just wouldn't eat it. Is that strange or is just spoiled? He eats everything else just fine I thought I was offering the ultimate treat guess not he just watched it die smuggly:)

I was just just curious any thoughs you guys are great at offering opinions and suggestions always honest and helpful.:D

I don't know why he didn't like the mantis, but he looks great :)

Maybe he lost it in mid chew?... Lol that is a pretty funny story. Maybe he just didn't like the taste. Beautiful veiled by the way... :D

Some chams, like people, have food preferences.

My male panther, loves crickets, wont touch roaches.
