raising locusts

So 6 of the adult locusts I got for Neelix have been mating furiously for 2 days. Does anyone know how long it is until they lay? I suspect Neelix won't eat them all before I get eggs.

Could be handy though, I have a couple of new mouths to feed.

I only picked up one new mouth today, but my tree frog is partial to locusts too. No more new additions....at least until January lol
