Raining in the enclosure?

I spray my veiled chams once, sometimes twice a day but if it's likely to be of benefit to my chams I'd like to change the way I do things. I see people here mention under enclosure drainage. Is it better for my chams if I dream up a watering system that actually makes it rain in there for them then? I'll be changing my husbandry based on your answers ! Thanks  :p

I mist 3 times a day and have a Little Dripper set up which drips all day as my panther cham doesn't always drink when I'm around.

I have holes drilled into the floor of the enclosure which is then resting on four corner bowls so there is a gap underneath for a drainage tray.

I'll let the others explain their fantastic drainage systems, but I find this works ok for me at the moment ;)

In the future I'm hoping to set up a bigger drainage butt so I don't need to empty the tray daily!!

I would say yes, it's better if they get rained on. Some chameleons won't even start drinking if they haven't been rained on for a bit. You can create the rain with a pump mister, but drainage is an absolute must.
