Rainbird Landscape tubing

Has anyone ever used this tubing with the mistking? For the price I found for it, it seems a lot cheaper and you get double. It seems the right size at 1/4 inch and the website says its used for spot watering systems.

It actually wont work. It can't handle the amount of PSI a Mistking will produce, and it will blow it out. You wouldn't want to come home from work or school to a Mistking blasting water all over your floor!! :D I have seen some tubing at Lowe's where you find the Rainbird stuff and the vinyl tubing that looks to be the same grade of material. I believe it is a white color as opposed to black, but I never took a close look at the demensions or PSI rating. But don't use the Rainbird tubing with a Mistking, or you'll have a blowout.

I have been using it for a while without problems. I have a zero drip valve that will recycle the extra pressure back into the system and don't know if that makes a difference.

The rainbird tubing works for the mistking valves? Clark you may have just made my day. 100 ft for 10 bucks makes more sense than 17.50 for 50 feet plus 9.00 shipping! LOL

There's your answer lol. As for the other tubing he's talking about, I have heard that tubing that let's light thru can cause faster mold or algae growth. I am not sure if there is and truth to this, but I stick with the black to be safe

I'm still using my mistking without the zip drip attached because I needed more tubing. By next week I hope to not have that problem LOL!
