Questions about infertile eggs

So I have a Senegal chameleon that is probably about 1 year old and male.
I am not able to reach the person that sold the chameleon to me, and I know it iwas an awful mistake not to ask him in the very first place. What I need to know ( since my Senegal could be a female, but I think not ) is: what age do Senegals start laying infertile eggs, I need to know what the chameleon needs in order to do it and not get sick, and I would really like to know if there are any signs or clues that could show me if Gaugain ( chameleon ) needs to do it.
Also, if you can, I would like to know where to find a lenght - weight chart to figure out Gaugain's age.
If you don't like how I make questions, I am sorry, I am just worried for my friend.

I never kept a Senegal so I can't be much help. If you can post a picture or 3 someone will be able to tell you the sex for sure (and make a good guess at age).
Here is some great laying bin info. - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/jannb/345-egg-laying-laying-bin.html

Especially with a more delicate species like a Senegal you should hope for the laying bin inside the cage to work.....sometimes the outside bin can be a bit stressful.
The easiest ways to tell if a cham is gravid is by her getting chubby. When it's time to lay there will often be visible egg bumps in her belly. Scratching at the ground and trying to dig tunnels is a pretty sure sign. They often go off food for up to a week or so before laying.

Here is some pictures.
