Question on veiled chameleon.

Does the veil on the chameleon have to be PERFECTLY straight or can it be a slightly crooked but still going straight up?

I have seen many pics of perfectly healthy veileds with slightly bent casques over the years. A slight bend could be caused by all sorts of things...genetics, a pattern of early growth spurts, simple variation in the cham's skeletal development, or possibly a slight injury at an early age. If you are gutloading and supplementing correctly it shouldn't be a big issue. Very few things in nature are actually perfectly symmetrical.

Thanks for the answer and I am supplementing correctly so it shouldnt be mbd and its only a little bent so it should be fine.
