What sort light meter readings should I have at the top perching areas for my week old gracilior babies?
I currently have an Arcadia 12%T5 and another Arcadia bulb light that just gives off light suspended about 18" above their enclosure that is 30" tall. I've ordered new lighting from Light Your Reptiles with a 6% light and the same bright white light.
Some seem to be basking up top and I'll lower the light to try to get the UVB deeper into the cage.
Next weekend after my MistKing arrives, I'll set them up individually in DragonStrand Nursery cages which are only 16" tall.
All 12 babies that hatched last weekend seem to be doing really well.

When I have veiled and panther babies I use an old Reptisun that's putting out 8 to 10 UVB for the first months or so.
