My female laid her first clutch of four eggs on the 31st of January. She laid them in the corner of my exo terra 12x12x18. It was a several hour ordeal for her to dig, lay, reposition the eggs, and bury. When the mister came on in the evening she drank and drank. The next morning she actively chased the crickets instead of hanging and waiting for them to cross her path. I dusted the crickets with herptivite for good measure to help her recover. Below are some picks.
My setup. Temp kept between 68-71 degrees. I expect the hatchlings in about 60-75 days at those temps.
A poor image of the female in the hole laying her eggs. If you can't tell she is in the top left of the image.
The top image is my male during misting, the second is the female one day after egg laying, she moved to the main spray to wash off. The last photo is my male and female immediately after misting. I run my Monsoon mister 2 minutes at 7am and 2 minutes at 7pm.
Suggestions always welcomed!
