So i want to get into the world of pygmy chameleons!! i have done my research and all i have found are the Bearded pygmy. Are their any other captive bread pygmies for under $75? Please any help is greatly appreciated!

If price is a big issue it might be the wrong hobby to get into. Why did you use such a large font?

Yes, there are. But they're not usually available!

Spectrals and temporalis are the other two common pygmies. Start with brevs and stop screaming at us please. ;)

They also aren't recommended for beginners, or as someone else said...those on a budget! This is a VERY expensive hobby!

I got my bearded pygmies from flchams.com. They came in good shape and were less than $75. I think I paid $50 for the pair, not including shipping. But as the other members already stated it is an expensive hobby. The animal itself may not be expensive but keeping them happy and healthy is. Good luck!

I ordered 2 female beardeds from reptmart, 50$ not counting shipping. They came in great condition, and reptmart also has temporalis pygmies. The set up will be more expensive than the animal itself. I spent around 350$ for all my materials and the entire set up needed. Be prepared to spend your money on these items!

i know it is expensive, i have most of every thing i just need a tank and a few live plants! $75 for one chameleon! i am willing to go more, i am just trying to get a general idea of price!

There are also Pitted Pygmies!!! They normally run the same price. Again none of these are beginner pets.
