PVC enclosure

Now I know I've seen a picture of someone's viv that is made out of PVC... can't seem to recall who.

I am currently building a wooden enclosure but would much prefer something made out of PVC if it is of similar quality.

Does anyone have any experience with a cage like this?

Quality, sturdiness, pro's & con's? Thanks!

Pat.

PVC is easy to work with, and not extremely expensive either. The connecting elbows, and glue is always available. The downside is it is flexible material that gives very easily, and the door is tough to make bug-proof, as you have curved corners. Latching devices and hinges look like they don't belong on the plastic, and the plastic has printing on it, so it may not look as nice as it sounds like you want. sealed wood looks better IMHO!:D
Hope this helps

PVC is easy to store, wood is heavy and hard to move, and doesn't fold away.

Wood looks great, and is easier to design a bug-proof enclosure.

PVC looks o-k, but sometimes getting it bug proof is a little more trouble than it's worth.
