Pumpkin and another Monster clutch

Wow, Ryan, Pumpkin is quite the machine. We got a girl from Jake of WestCoastChameleons, too. From the Seth line. She's doing great and her first offspring began to hatch around Christmas day. The clutch was 31 eggs, which I thought was a lot (until reading this thread!).

I know you take great care of your chams. How is Pumpkin doing? Let us know when that first clutch starts to hatch.

Thanks ! , Pumpkin is doing great. She is on a break now and will not be mated again for months . I will be sure to update when they hatch. I am almost 5 months in on the first clutch.

Pumpkin has out done her self again.

She has laid another monster clutch of 54 eggs about 2 weeks ago.

Today her first clutch of 40 is showing some activity. 4 eggs are sweating and 2 have slit. I do not see any heads yet but am anxiously waiting.

Congrats on the eggs! Pumpkin is guite a girl. I feed my guys 3 times a weeks.....Mon, Wed. & Fri. and only give 6 feeders (or equal to six depending on the size) You could try that. I know the lower temps and less food is suppose to help with the veileds but not sure about the panthers.

I just was confused by your comment and then reading that she had another clutch, that I assumed were fertile. I know nothing about breeding as I dont or wont, so I wasnt aware that eggs could be layed fertile from retained sperm. Apologies for my ignorance.. Guess I should use teh search bar more often myself..

Anyways, I apologize, Congrats, and Best luck.

Just think Betty, if you could retain sperm you would only need us men 1 time.........
