Puffing Up After Eating?

I noticed today after Ziggy had a few crix and a meal worm, he puffed up his entire body, made himself look fat and extended his throat way out, was I just too close to him after eating or did he eat too much?

was he basking under the light. usually, especially after eating, they will puff up to help take in the heat from a basking light. this helps the, digest there food.

my panther pandora did that a few time i just thought she was gloating but she only did that after hand feeding her silk worms

That makes sense, he did eat more at once than I have ever seen before so he was prob just trying to digest.
