Puffed out chin problem

Most of you would probably say that this is defensive/offensive body language, but i got home from class today and found my female oustalets like this, the skin under her lower jaw is filled with air like a croaking frog. definitely not defensive behavior, its not going back to normal yet, been here about 10 minutes so far. She was hanging upside-down (head looking straight down at ground) when i got home, don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Any ideas on what this is all about?

That sounds like a upper respiratory infection to me. I have had a female panther that had the same symptoms although she would puff out her throat a few times like your picture and I would also hear the occasional cough. If its just puffy it could be an edema from over supplementing. Either way check with an experienced chameleon vet.

I was noticing under her arm has a white sac which looks like fluid. I know I have seen the sacs before and I believe that is edema.
