Pricing feeders

I have a local pet shop that is interested in purchasing some of my excess silkworms. I have no idea what price to sell these for, any ideas? I know this guy buys from mulberry farms normally, so he would be saving a lot just in shipping. I'm not even sure how much he sells the silkworms for in the shop, as they don't order often due to the shipping costs. Any thoughts would be appreciated

How many are you selling him?? That would make a difference with the price per silkie.

I'm not even sure! I have 200 small that will be medium by next weekish and 100 or so big ones. And I have lots in cocoons so I will have many eggs that I can take out of the fridge as needed. I know they sell hornworms for about $1.50 each. I didn't even get into discussing numbers yet because I really wasn't even expecting this

Have him throw you a price.To see where his head is at . Then see if it's worth it to you.Then again you said they were excess. Nothing like a lil extra $$... Maybe trade for things at the store you need/could use. Seems like the ball is in your court

Where in Hershey is this pet store that sells feeders like horns and silks? Up here in NEPA all I have is supers, butters and wax. It would totally be worth the 1 1/2 hour ride!

Haha well, I think they are out of silks right now but I have them! You could go to Zootopia Pets on Derry Street (Hummelstown) and buy hornworms, then stop by Hershey to get some silkworms from me! I know they sell hornworms for $1.50 each but I think it's like $15.00 a dozen or something like that. Hold on....... here is the link.....http://www.zootopiapetz.com/
