Hello again! This is a female elliot’s chameleon and I checked on her while she was sleeping last night and I saw this pouch on her, Is she pregnant or is something other than that? She has been sleeping in very awkward positions and basking a lot. She also is refusing to eat. What does this mean?

That is a tough one with wild caught chameleons. They arrive in compromised health and are often skinny and underweight. Your female Trioceros ellioti could be an underweight pregnant wild caught chameleon. My guidance is to keep your eye's on her and prepare for babies.

I am not saying 100% pregnant. However she looks pregnant. Best to prepare! I would attempt to put tom weight and hydrate your female Trioceros ellioti since healthier pregnancies normally mean healthier babies.

That is difficult to say with your female Trioceros ellioti being skinny. The belly bulge pictures looks as though she is pregnant.
