My 1 year old veiled laid 43 eggs in december. since then her and the male have been seperate, but she's recently gotten huge and she's doing that not-eating thing again. could she be pregnant again? i've read about "reciprocal sperm" getting chams that haven't mated pregnant again in a short time, but i tought it would have been sooner than this. any experts out there know if she could be pregnant?

Retained sperm can happen. Make sure you have a laying bin in her enclosure. Treat her just like you know she has eggs. She may surprise you with more.

The time frame seems about right for her to lay a second clutch-add the laying container ASAP. My females always seem to lay around 3 months after the first time.
