Pre-Loading Liquid Vitamins

I was wondering if anyone has used ay liquid vitamins such as Poly-Visol for their chams! Especially on females 2 months or so before they breed! I usually give my adult Ambanja 1 drop orally every month and a half, and my female panther 2 drops a month for two months before breeding. Has anyone had any problems with this or used this? For those that do not know what Poly-Visol is, it is a liquid vitamin for infants that has multiple vitamins. I have had a few chameleon breeders tell me that this is the way to go. Any input on this subject?

I prefer a more natural method of getting nutrition into my chameleons - that of gutloading the prey.

But then again, I rarely take a vitamin supplement for myself, preferring just to eat properly myself.

You are right, but I guess I'm kinda thinkin along the line of when a woman gets pregnant the Doc prescribes prenatal vitamins as well as a proper diet! I just want to make sure that all possible vitamins required are delivered.
In my opinion vitamins are vitamins no matter where they come from . I haven't seen alot of thread on this topic so please let me know.

Another Question: Are liquid vitamins absorbed more easily? (for instance, a sick Chameleon)

Thanks Jeremy
